Oregon Corrections Enterprises celebrated a major milestone as six Adults in Custody completed the states first braille transcription and certification program. Two graduates have earned national certification as braille transcribers, equipping them with skills in high demand across the country. The program provides rehabilitative training, meaningful employment opportunities post-release, and contributes to accessible educational materials for blind and visually impaired students statewide. Families, staff, and supporters came together to honor this groundbreaking achievement.
