MULTIMEDIA DESIGN PROGRAM
The Multimedia Design Program at Oregon Corrections Enterprises brings together participants from Oregon State Correctional Institution (OSCI) and Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF) to develop a diverse set of creative and technical skills.
This comprehensive program covers graphic design, 3D rendering, motion graphics, and animation, along with video production elements such as intros, outros, transitions, and soundtrack editing. Participants also gain experience in professional photo editing, including retouching and resizing for high-quality imagery, as well as mastering sound design, voice narration, and character animation. By equipping participants with expertise across multimedia platforms, the program prepares them for rewarding careers in the creative industry, advancing OCE's mission to provide reentry-focused opportunities that foster growth and success.
Graphic Design
Logos, favicons, branding guides, style guides, general graphics, icons, infographics, brochures, catalogs, flyers, posters, sell sheets, promo cards, product price tags, gallery books, self-mailers, digital marketing assets, QR codes, 3D rendering, web banners, and form design.
Multimedia Design
3D Rendering, motion graphics, video intros and outros, chapter titles, transitions, inset imagery and graphics, soundtrack application, sound editing of voice recordings, narration, character animation, and animation.
Professional Headshots
In studio or on location headshot portraits, corporate/executive headshots, team/group photos, LinkedIn/social media profile photos, business card photos, color and black & white options, standard backdrops and edited-in backgrounds, photo retouching, image resizing, high-resolution images, digital and print formats.
Web Design
Application and arrangement of graphic and text elements over existing platforms such as logos, themes, fonts, color schemes, branding, ecommerce items, buttons, search bars, site-provided functionality, and imagery. Creation of pdf versions of offline coded website layouts for application to an existing platform. Creation of standard and custom page code to generate web pages on a Client-owned and -created website including Home, Registration, About Us, Contact Us, Galleries, Blogs, Careers, Quick Exit functionality and other pages.
Video Editing and Design
Video production, video editing, to include both graphic and multimedia design.

CERTIFICATIONS
LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION:
Graphic Design Fundamentals
The first level of certification in the Multimedia Design Program focuses on building a strong foundation in graphic design using industry-standard Adobe software: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Participants learn essential skills through hands-on practice and guided coursework, including Adobe-certified books and test questions. This certification equips individuals with the ability to create professional designs such as logos, brochures, infographics, and digital marketing assets, while mastering key concepts like image editing, layout design, and vector graphics. By earning this certification, participants gain the technical expertise and creative confidence needed to excel in the graphic design field and take the first step toward advanced multimedia skills.LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATION:
Multimedia Design Essentials
The second level of certification in the Multimedia Design Program focuses on advanced multimedia creation using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Animate. Participants gain expertise in motion graphics, video editing, and animation through comprehensive training that includes Adobe-certified books and test questions. This certification develops skills in creating dynamic video intros and outros, seamless transitions, character animation, and interactive motion designs. Participants also learn soundtrack application, sound editing, and integrating multimedia elements to produce polished, professional-quality projects. Earning this certification prepares individuals for roles in video production, digital animation, and multimedia design, paving the way for impactful creative careers.LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATION:
Film Production Mastery
The third level of certification in the Multimedia Design Program is offered in partnership with No Sunrise Wasted, led by Devin Fei Fan Tau. This immersive 12-month course covers the entire spectrum of video production, including pre-production planning, on-set production techniques, and post-production editing. Participants gain hands-on experience in storyboarding, scripting, filming, and advanced editing, culminating in the creation of their own short film as a final project. This certification equips individuals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in film production, empowering them to showcase their creativity and technical expertise while preparing for professional opportunities in the film and media industries.ADVANCED COURSEWORK:
Starter Bootcamp and Yes I Am a Designer
As part of the Multimedia Design Program, participants engage in advanced coursework developed by Martin Perhiniak, including the Starter Bootcamp and Yes I Am a Designer programs. These courses offer a deep dive into industry-leading design principles, advanced Adobe Creative Suite techniques, and professional workflows, equipping participants with the skills needed to excel in design and multimedia projects. While external certification is currently paused through this program, the rigorous training and hands-on experience provide participants with valuable expertise recognized by industry professionals, further enhancing their creative and technical capabilities.
